The victim of Saturday's shooting at the Bonchon restaurant on Pleasant Valley Road in Manchester died Sunday night, according to Manchester Police. Police said that the victim, now identified as 36 year old Norris Jackson of East Hartford, was gunned down inside the restaurant while he was at work.
Police are investigating a two car crash Monday afternoon, that has put two people in the hospital with serious injuries. Officers from the towns around the Gold Star Highway at the intersection of Flanders road for a two car crash.

State Police say a truck driver had been killed after a crash in Somers. The truck, driven by Chad Mason, 42, of Stafford Stafford springs, was traveling west on Main Street/Route 190. The truck then traveled off the left side of the road, striking wire rope guard rails, a utility poles, and several trees.
Crews battled a fire overnight on Kickapoo Road in Middlefield. The fire was still burning early Friday morning after starting Thursday night. The State Fire Marshal’s office on scene, but crews are unable to enter the house due to the smokey conditions. The interior had collapsed.

Dozens of horses have died after a fire at Folly Farm in Simsbury on Thursday morning, authorities said. The deputy fire told Channel 3 the fire was concentrated to the barn/stalls where the horses live on Hartford Road around 6:45 a.m. None of the horses were able to make it out of the barns, authorities said.
A man from Stamford and a Norwalk police officer have both been hospitalized following a violent arrest. It happened on New Canaan Avenue.

A 14-year-old has been charged with sexually assaulting another child, police said Tuesday. The arrest stems from an investigation that began in August, when police were dispatched to a report of an alleged sexual assault that occurred in the southern section of town, police said in a news release. The police Special Victims Unit was assigned the investigation.

State Police say they are investigating after a person was struck by a car on Route 9 in Berlin. The accident happened around 2:20 a.m. on the southbound lane. Jesse Etienne, 19, of Arizona, was outside his car due to a prior accident. While he was standing outside his car in the median, he was struck by a car driven by Robert Markahm, 35, of Portland.
